Cockblocking

My drunken, flirtatious nature on Sunday evening brought about this email from a friend of mine...

"i've been rifling through the guy handbook, and i think i've found the
citation i was looking for under code 42 dealing with cockblocking and
similar offenses. section 3 clause 1 states that 'if a friend of yours
is clearly being flirted with by someone, you may not interfere unless
said friend has made an attempt to communicate that he needs rescuing. in this instance intervention is permissable but should be limited to the absolute minimal necessary to remove your friend the situation in question. any attempts to flirt with the guy trying to bag your friend is seriously illegal.'"

i need to see that book officer. let me get this straight, even if the friend has signalled that he should be rescued, it's still illegal?

i'm relieved that i was out of town during the alleged offense, otherwise, i'd think there had been some infractions committed.
